Annual exams coupled with high quality diagnostic service is crucial to your pet’s overall health and wellbeing. Since Alpine View is equipped with a complete digital radiology suite and a full in-house laboratory, we are able to identify and immediately diagnose health issues, thus enabling us to implement a customized treatment plan for your pet at their initial visit so we can get them back to feeling healthy and happy as quickly as possible.
Additionally, for specific cases, we are able to arrange for a specialist (Dr. Ryan Schultz) to perform an on-site diagnostic ultrasounds right in our facility, thereby increasing the comfort of your pets and convenience for you. Our goal is to get your pet back on his or her feet and feeling better as soon as possible.
Our diagnostic services include:
- Digital x-ray – Digital x-ray allows us to take and review radiographs of your pet within seconds
- Digital dental x-ray – Allows us to diagnose and treat dental disease and issues with your pet’s mouth to improve his or her overall oral health
- In-house blood testing – This is an extremely important tool which allows us to diagnose a pet’s condition and immediately begin treatment at the time of your pet’s initial visit, rather than waiting overnight for blood results to return
- In-house laboratory – Having an in house lab with fully trained staff allows us to perform microscopic analysis, urinalysis, and cytologies.
- In-house pharmacy – Allows us to immediately begin treatment for our patients in need, and enables us to prescribe and refill the various medications needed long-term to treat various conditions or diseases.
Our hospital is also fully equipped with things such as tonometry (glaucoma testing) and blood pressure assessment. Whatever may be ailing your pet, we will do what it takes to get to the bottom of it and develop the appropriate course of treatment so that we can return them to their normal, active lifestyle as soon as possible.
