Dr Mark Davis, DVM, MBA is the owner of Northwest Veterinary Surgery. He is a Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon. Dr Davis is a native of Northwest Arkansas. After attending the University of Arkansas where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition he then completed his DVM degree in 1993 at Oklahoma State University. He pursued specialization first with his internship at LSU and then in a small animal surgical residency at Texas A&M University. He completed his residency in 1998 and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999. Dr Davis also completed the requirements to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee in 2010. As a lifelong student, he has also completed his MBA at the University of Washington in 2018. Dr Davis’s professional interests include orthopedic, neurological, and soft tissue surgery with a focus on the path to recovery through physical rehabilitation.
Orthopedic surgeries are generally scheduled at Alpine View on designated Mondays each month. Typically your pet will be brought in for their surgical admission appointment in the morning between 8:00 and 9:00am and get to go home with you that evening between 5:00 and 6:00pm.
